"I have so far enjoyed my experience as a resident at Granville. While my room has had a few maintenance issues, they were fixed eventually and have not been a problem since. Overall, the experience has been great."
Lindsay C.
Living here has been a great experience. I've enjoyed many amenities and the location is amazing in terms of on-campus activities. The only drawback so far is the decline in quality of the Agora, however, I look forward to seeing it improve!
Kayleigh C.
I have really enjoyed living at Granville towers so far. The location makes it really easy to get to campus or drop by Franklin street to grab a bite to eat. I also really like having a dining hall in such close vicinity as well as a gym.
Juhi S.
Granville Towers is located in a great area. However, I have had several problems with my room that have not been addressed well, such as continuous leaks in my bathroom.
Katherine W.
I love living at Granville! Super close to everything, especially Target and Chipotle :). I really enjoy the themed dinners and smoothie day!
Jessica J.
I love the location. It is so close to Franklin Street and it takes around 5 minutes to walk to campus. The amenities such as the gym, laundry and the Agora are great too!
Adaeze C.
Love Granville Towers. I lived here last year and loved it so much I decided to live here for another year. I have had nothing but great experiences here. The people are amazing and the food is even better.
MaryAnna C.
it is so fun. I like the ammenities and the staff is very nice. the agora is good as well. the location is amazing. it is very easy to get everywhere from here
Jamie B.
Granville is the place where I was meant live and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The location is great right beside Franklin and really not a fall walk from class at all!
Kacy C.
Good place to live. good location. food is ok but better than on campus. Room is great. Having the food so close is great and there is always something available to eat!
Anna B.
Living in Granville has been such a good experience thus far while at Carolina. I have made lifelong friends and the staff if amazing. The close proximity to classes and Franklin St. is also really convenient!
Elizabeth B.
It’s duuuuper good I love it it’s awesome I enjoy it it’s grwst. I love it it’s swag it’s dope I enjoy it it’s awesome I enjoy it it’s great.
jdav*@*.com
I enjoy Granville and all it has to over. The agora dining hall is very good and has good food available. I like the setup of the rooms because my suite is very close.
Elizabeth K.
Granville Towers really is the place to be at UNC because the staff are extremely friendly, the food is great for first-year living, and it is conveniently by college classes and Franklin Street.
Christian H.
I love Granville the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Never have had any issues and feel supported by the Granville staff. Would not want to live anywhere else.
Christian H.
Granville has been a great experience so far! The mold incident was handled well and students were compensated fairly for the inconvenience. The location is very convenient, and I couldn't ask for a better layout and setup.
Gretchen S.
Despite the relocations, Granville has been a great place to live. With the Agora, gym, and its close proximity to Target, I would live here again next school year.
Keena W.
Everything has been really good here at Granville. The bathrooms are cleaned very well and the staff is very helpful when it comes to fixing problems and needing accommodations. However, it was annoying that the first two months I couldn't get a good night's sleep because the mold was causing me to cough and have bad allergies. That being said, the problem was fixed and everything is back to normal so I am very happy.
William E.
It’s pretty good except for the mood this year which was kind of disappointing but it’s fine because they got it cleaned. Otherwise it is pretty nice and clean
Victoria P.
I love leaving here and everyone is so sweet and caring. The events that they have are also really fun and my me feel like I’m part of a community.
Isabella P.
I like the gluten free refrigerator! One suggestion I have is to label all foods as safe for the major allergens like CDS does. However, the Agora is tastier!
Marc S.
I'd live here again. Friendly housekeeping staff, clean gym, nice dining hall. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Amber H.
Granville has great amenities such as the Agora, study lounges on each floor, TVs in the Agora and lounges, and the workout room. So far I've liked living in Granville.
Margaret L.
Granville has made pristine accommodations due to the mold and I am very pleased that they were able to immediately solve the issue and allow its residents to stay in one of three amazing hotels for a few days.
Seth T.
The location is amazing, and the staff are super sweet. However, the hallways are super loud, especially at night, so I get little sleep. Would definitely recommend to friends though to live here.
Annsumner T.
I really enjoy the bathrooms at Granville towers. Having my own bathroom has been such an enjoyable experience for me during my time at granville
Andrew C.
Its been such a great experience surrounded with awesome staff and residents! I would recommend this living arrangement to any UNC student, especially the first-years.
Olivia K.
Granville is a great place to live while attending school at UNC. The location is probably the best part. I can walk to any of my classes in under 10 minutes and it is soo close to Franklin Street.
Faith H.
Granville is a great place to stay, although first floor wasn’t the best. It’s a great community overall with plenty to do and have fun getting involved with
Christopher D.
It has been a good experience here at Granville. The people here are really nice and the location is unbeatable. The Agora is usually pretty good unless you go at a bad time.
tt12*@*.com
Granville provided a great environment for students. The food is great and so is the stuff. Everyone is friendly. However, some of the floor is nosier than expected.
Mengzhou F.
Granville towers is a great place to live in. I love the hall style of living because I am close with my suite but also with my hall. I cant wait to continue living here.
John L.
Except for the mold, living in Granville has been a very pleasant experience with the location and Agora that is open at all times throughout the day.
Patrick M.
Granville is quite a nice place to live, as convenience is it’s best factor. The dining hall is close, and so are the classes. I would recommend it to anyone.
Joshua W.
Clean and fun atmosphere! Everyone who works here is super friendly and accommodating. I have met great people aswell. Love everything but the mold.
Kendall Q.
Everything is decent other than the mold issue. Now that it’s fixed I feel more comfortable living here. The agora is my favorite part of living here
Janice C.
Overall My gville experience is pretty good. Frustrating that the mold had me sick for a long time but it’s okay. My bathroom looks like a prison cell but that’s also okay.
Lorenzo G.
Granville towers has very good service. They do a very good job communicating with us about the current situation involving the residence. They also do a very good job including special events for the students.
Tony T.
Good place to live! The staff is nice and friendly and i love the gym. The only issue is that we have a lot of maintenance issues with our bathroom.
Gretta S.
I have enjoyed living in Granville for the most part. The food at the Agora is good. Staff is nice. I enjoy having my own room - the primary reason I moved here.
Cole B.
Granville Towers has provided a great living and learning environment so far for my freshmen year of college. The Agora has great food and the walking distance to classes is very reasonable.
Ethan T.
The staff are very friendly especially in the dining hall. Also, although there is a mold problem, Granville has done very well trying to work with residents.
Seth M.
I love it here and the fact they’ve taken action against the mold is much appreciated! It’s great how fast someone comes after a service request has been sent!
Olivia G.
Very good thus far. Lots of really nice staff/RAs and the food is really good too in the Agora. The community of people is better than my living my freshman year down south campus
Grayson H.
clean facilities and spacious room. Great community. Mold and maintenance request have not been as good as I’d like. Air conditioning and bathroom have been good.
Kate M.
I really enjoy living in Granville and I love the community. The Agora is reasonable but I think they should offer a wider variety of healthier options. Additionally, the mold incident was disturbing but I can move past it.
Lily F.
living at granville is pretty good. the mood is obviously not good but what are you gonna do. it could be a lot worse. i like the agora a lot.
Katherine M.
Besides the mold, the living situations are very nice. I really like the dark wood and how all the furniture is movable. Having the sinks in the bedrooms is fantastic!
Kaitlin R.
I love living in Granville. It has such easy access to dining, the workout room, and it is in a a great location right off of Franklin. The walk to campus is also super quick and easy!
Alexis T.
Y’all doin great but there are a few things you could fix. First the mold thing is wild and y’all probably need to get a hold on that. Second the shower drains never drain and I’m always standing in a pool of my filth so y’all have to do something about that.
Mary M.
The first month or two have been great. Parking and location are great for chapel hill. I love the access of food and location to campus. Great place to live.
Julia C.
The location is amazing and the things that are offered es here are great. There is the agora, the workout room, the study rooms, the laundry rooms, everything we need!
Elliot E.
Roommate makes it hard to sleep at nights and really aren’t having a good time when it comes to sleeping at my time. I like everything from staff to food provided just that small detail at night.
Brian G.
I really enjoy living in Granville Towers, it is very convenient and accessible to my classes and to the downtown area. Granville offers many amenities that are great too.
Caroline D.
The hallways and common spaces are very loud, especially at night. The Granville staff is very nice and helpful when I have an issue. The agora is always clean.
Caroline B.
Granville has been amazing so far. My RA Saqib is the absolute best. The agora always smacks and the friends I have made while here are great.
Jacob H.
Great place, great person, especially the people who works in the agora. Absolutely love them! The environment is also perfect, so close and convenient to restaurants and shops!
Ken L.
This community is a great place to live. The staff is welcoming and the location is great. Living close to Franklin has its perks whether you just want to study or you want to go somewhere to get food with friends.
Grace S.
Living in granville is a great experience. Everyone is nice and friendly. It is a great community and everyone is very inclusive. I am very glad I decided to live here.
Hannah S.
Nice overall experience!
Great location, decent food.
Could be a little noisy sometimes though, hope RAs could be more restrictive on those girls who speak very loud after 11
Runjie Y.
The rooms are very nice and much more customizable. You can easily make it feel like home. I will heavily consider getting a single room here next year if I do not live off campus.
Lukas S.
It's been a good experience overall with some issues with the sink early on that were resolved eventually. Mostly just problems one would expect from an old building
rahn*@*.com
I like how close it is to class but things are always breaking and maintenance barely fixes the problem and we just have to keep calling them
Ashley G.
I enjoy living at Granville towers a lot because the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the location is unbeatable. My only complaint is that I wish there were more parking spots for visitors.
Laura W.
Room size and space is great. Love the joined bathroom. Two things to improve: the coax wall plug has been painted which does not allow for an adapter to be screwed in, which wouldn’t be a problem in the first place because the position and location of the plug in the room is not good. Second thing is AC. Always cold and have to call matinence a lot.
Alison G.
This website is infuriatingly hard to navigate. Just the fact that Granville is using it has made me less satisfied with my experience. I was given a reward code to redeem here and it is absolutely unnecessarily hard to find where to type it in.
Nathan H.
it has been really fun getting to know people. I like the room size and private bathroom. I also like the food in the Agora and the accessibility to help
Grace B.
I'd live here again. Friendly housekeeping staff, clean gym, nice dining hall. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
achu*@*.edu
Pretty great. Clean, internet is fast, and the rooms are decent sized. No regrets! The pricing is also pretty decent especially since its so much better than the dorms on campus.
Michael C.
The staff are beyond helpful and friendly, but the facility does not really live up to the hype it gets. Not a big deal considering it can be a comparable price to on campus with the consideration of a meal plan being included.
Kaylee T.
After living at Granville for approximately two years now , I have always been extremely satisfied with the hospitality and quick assistance with maintenance. Friendly staff!
hayl*@*.com
Granville Towers has been a great experience. Having everything that I possibly need at my fingertips has been great throughout my transition into college.
Carleigh F.
Experience has been great but they are too strict about quiet periods on the wrong people. People come in screaming at 2 AM and get no punishment but yelling after a unc game at 11 pm gets a noise complaint.
Mary W.
Living here in Granville has been so awesome this past month. There is easy access to Franklin street and great food in the agora downstairs. Classes are not a far walk at all which makes it easy every morning.
Sarah R.
The best place as a first year! It has so many options and you make so many friends! Super close to campus. Basically a 10 minute walk to all my classes
Mary K.
When I first arrived at UNC, I was terrified that I wouldn’t find anyone that I could hang out with because I knew absolutely no one. I was surprised, therefore, at how quickly I became part of a close-knit group of friends, almost all of whom live in my dorm.
Martha G.
Granville has the best location for first-year living! The Agora has a wide variety of food, you are not being "limited" by the Agora-only meal plan.
Emily M.
Love it! Only problems have been with leaky ceilings in the bathrooms and AC that’s super cold. Everyone’s super friendly and the location is great.
Shaili R.
My experience at Granville so far has been pretty good. Somedays the food is better than others, but the staff is always super friendly. The sense of community here at Granville is strong and it is now an inviting place that feels like a second home.
Blanka B.
I really enjoy it here! The staff is always super friendly! I love the proximity to campus too! I also really like that first year students have the opportunity to have our cars here!
Amandeep P.
Granville is a great place to live. It is super close to campus and franklin street which is super convenient. It’s also really nice having the Agora.
Anna B.
There are clean buildings with friendly staff willing to help. However, the buildings need landscaping near the parking lots, and they need to update the appliances in the rooms.
Alexa T.
Good amenites and nice people. However, the community and stereotypes that accommodate it are very true. It can feel like one big frat or sorority at times, which can get annoying. The agora is also a nice benefit.
Joseph L.
Granville towers has a good location and is very close to campus. The agora is alright but could definitely use more vegetables and variety. The gym is nice to have but very small
Maria R.
I give Granville Towers FIVE STARS for Location! It's so easy to wake up and get to class - and super close to Franklin Street for all the fun at UNC!
Abigail Y.
I genuinely enjoy living in Granville and the amenities they offer. The facilities are well-kept and the staff is kind. The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping keeps the bathrooms clean.
Jenna A.
The location of Granville Towers is great. It is within a short a short walk of everything you need: class, food, and social events. Plus it is much nicer than other places for freshmen to stay.
Brady W.
My residential experience has been very great. I have loved Granville. I especially love the people who work here and the people who greet me in the Agora every day. Each person is so friendly and has a smile on their face. I was pleasantly surprised by my dorm room and how nice it was! I would definitely recommend Granville to a friend!
Sarah A.
It’s a very kind and inclusive community. The weight room, Agora, and study lounges are my favorite amenities of Granville Towers. I’m definitely going to live here in the coming years.
Corey H.
I love Granville! The Agora is so close and easy, and the room layouts are very nice. The staff is always friendly. It is a very comfortable place to live.
Lillie Q.
Granville Towers is a warm and welcoming community that is located conveniently near franklin street and north campus. It’s a great place to live if you’re looking for comfort.
rhyn*@*.com
Granville is a great dorm to live in as a freshman because the location is great in comparison to some others. The walk to class is much shorter and it is so close to Franklin Street.
Emily L.
The restaurant which is called Agora is very good. It offers various food and ice cream. However, some neighborhoods are too noisy in the night. Some of them will talk loudly in the hallway.
Alan 陈.
I have had a great experience here. The building is in a great location and the dining hall is so convenient and nice. I would definitely recommend.
Jordanemily T.
Very comfortable place to live! Great location and rooms. Granville towers has been a great place to spend 2 years and I have enjoyed all the amenities that come with a lease here.
Kailey H.
The agora is great and the staff are so nice. It is located at a great location. Having a personal vanity and a shared private bathroom is a plus too.
Shane H.
Love it except for the black mildew in the vents and the leaky shower ceilings. The size of the rooms is great along with the Ag. The elevators break sometimes but it's not too bad.
Audrey S.
There’s definitely room for improvement with maintenance and how the rooms are taken care of. As well as things in the Agora. But over all it’s been okay
Julian E.
Great super awesome I love my roommates and the location here is really great and I love having the gym and the agora so close! Tonight we used the kitchen
Gillian V.
The location is simply unbeatable for a first year student. Amenities are comfortable as well. Definitely a unique experience from being in a dorm.
Kevin G.
Great place to live especially as a first-year with the on campus requirement. Not too loud lots of fun and good food! People are super nice and friendly!
Cameron F.
Great atmosphere. Close to campus and close to the many restaurants on franklin street. The free printing with your own paper is amazing, because I have to print a lot and dont have to pay for ink.
Magdalena D.
The staff is very helpful. The food in the Agora is amazing and all of the staff in there are very nice as well. The rooms are very nice and have so much more space than a normal dorm room and the location is so close to campus.
Sarah M.
I love the rooms in Granville, they're such a good size and layout and there's definitely enough room for everything. It's also so convenient for classes and everything on Franklin street which is also a plus. The downside is that the Agora (while it has good food) doesn't have enough selection and it's really easy to get sick of eating the things there.
Stella K.
Granville Towers is the best first year living arrangement at the University of North Carolina. I would highly recommend living here if you want solid community, a good location, and a little more space.
Joshua H.
So far so good. I can’t complain everyone’s been really nice and I have a lot of friends on my hall. Weird small thing to add but the teriyaki chicken wings might need some improvement but other than that, nothing.
Halsey Z.
Living at Granville has thus far been an amazing experience. The food, the people, and the location are awesome and I love being here at UNC.
JohnCarter H.
Everyone is super nice and accommodating throughout the staff and the people living around me. If I ever need anything there is someone who knows the answer or is willing to help. The apartment itself is in good condition and has little to no problems.
Jackson B.
It is good, I have really enjoyed staying here. My RA is cool and so are my room/suite-mates. The agora has very good food, the bathroom cleaners are cool.
James D.
The staff is helpful and friendly but my room did come with some damages and mold. Still would recommend to live in Granville as the location is close to just about everything on campus.
Veronika T.
I love living here! Great location near classes and Franklin Street and the cafeteria has good food! The rooms have lots of storage and I love that the sink is in the room.
Taylor P.
Overall, I guess living here has been alright but sometimes it gets a little loud at night when I'm trying to study, which is kind of annoying. The room has weird smell. Also the times when the elevator and wifi broke down....but the shower water gets hot fast:|
Gloria S.
The location is great being a first year with all my classes in central campus. I don’t have that long of a walk to classes and I get to live right by the hotspots on Franklin street. My only complaint is how much noise comes through the walls of the room, especially when my neighbors come back late at night making a lot of noise.
Noah S.
The RA is great but the room is causing me allergy almost everyday. The food is good and it’s convenient to get there. And everything else is quite accessible
Xiang L.
Pretty good, way better than on campus. The walk to class is only 10-15 as opposed to 30 from south campus living. The rooms are a little more spacious than on campus and has a good feel
Houston L.
Everyone is very social, but sometimes a little too much. They can get loud sometimes at really late hours or early mornings and are not courteous of others when people are resting. The housekeepers are kind and polite, especially Ms, Shirley she is always give a sweet greeting and warm welcome to remind me that I still love Granville.
Sophia M.
I enjoy living at Granville because I like seeing my friends! And the Granville staff are so cool, I like seeing them around the towers. Thanks!
Aklesia M.
Everything about Granville Towers is really good except for the inability to change the room temperature and the hours of the Agora. Late night should be opened on the weekends.
Alma R.
everyone is very nice here and the food is so good. it always looks very clean and the cleaning ladies are extremely friendly when they come every week.
Madison W.
The dorms are nice and pretty spacious to be a dorm. The AC works and there have been no problems with utilities. Nice having a dining hall close by.
Sydney K.
The agora is great, the people are nice, the rooms are spacious, the location is right on franklin street so food is super close if the agora isn't open.
Kelvin L.
I have truly enjoyed living in Granville so far this year. It is a great environment with great staff! I’m looking forward to the remainder of the year!
Tyler C.
Yes ma’am I’m gonna was a protein shake with a lot of people that are they going to eat with y’all doing today and I o yep I wanna was the day you
Victor M.
Good food but it sometimes is very noisy. Also, A/C unit is very loud and they have no way of fixing it, but hey at least it works and keeps my room cool.
Shane P.
Living here is really great! The location is awesome, we get housekeeping which is a major plus, and all the amenities are super nice. Having free printing makes things so much easier.
Amber K.
It's been pretty great living here. Very close to a lot of things (campus, Franklin, etc.) Sometimes there are some bad parts: like when I see all the fun food the other dining halls offer or when it gets really hot in our rooms
Jenny D.
Granville is nice because it’s location and dining services. All of my classes are >15 minutes away and the food at the Agora slaps. Chase and Lenior could never
Leighann V.
I have so far enjoyed my experience as a resident at Granville. While my room has had a few maintenance issues, they were fixed eventually and have not been a problem since. Overall, the experience has been great.
Lindsay C.
Very fun and inclusive environment with many useful, modern amenities for residents! The staff is professional and well trained in order to always provide the best living conditions.
Kayleigh C.
Great amenities and great place to live! I love living in West Tower, living so close to the Agora, campus, and Franklin Street is such a unique experience.
Kiara B.
Staff here is always helpful. The rooms are nice and it is a good distance from the main part of the campus. would recommend staying here.
Katie C.
Granville is great. I've met lots of great friends. The work orders are definitely on time, and totally don't actually take a really long time to get fixed. Also, there is totally not any mold at all in the ventilation systems.
Devin D.
it is great. The set up of the hall is a great way to met new people on the co-ed halls. Also the cleaning service is extremely helpful when we are busy with classes.
Morgan B.
The room is very nice and spacious. The community is very friendly and the RA is understanding. The noise level is minimal and I can comfortably carry out my daily activities in my room.
David L.
I love Granville Towers! I have visited other dorms at the University of North Carolina and at other Universities and they do not compare to Granville!
Emma M.
I love it here at Granville! It has become a second home for me!! Good food at Agora & amazingly convenient as it is close to Franklin Street and a Target!!
Daqi C.
The rooms are a good size and quality and the location of the dining hall is very convenient. There are lounges on each floor to use for studying or hanging out and the people have been nice.
Fairchild D.
As a first year, Granville Towers feels very familiar and inviting. I always feel welcomed by the residents as well as the staff here. I really do enjoy this place.
Esteban L.
I love Granville Towers. The room are so big and nice, especially compared to other freshman dorms. All the staff members are so kind and helpful.
Julianna R.
I had to submit maintenance requests for various issues that i encountered in my room. The cleaning service is good and the staff is also good.
Nicholas R.
I am a big fan of living in Granville towers. The staff there is super nice and always greets me as I enter as well as exit, especially the Agora.
Austin D.
It is so fun to live in Granville because the location is great and the food is super good and it’s nice to have a target and be so close to campus at the same time
Katherine B.
Solid community with a good location compared to freshman dorms. The amenities offered fulfill everything I need (Like a printer and dining hall).
Riley L.
Granville is the perfect place for me- I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else on campus. The central location to campus has been one of the best parts about living here, not to mention how amazing the people here are! My only complaint is some noticeable wear and tear within my room, but that is nothing that can't be easily fixed.
Reily M.
My experience at Granville has varied day by day but for the most part this place is better than on campus living for your freshman year. I would recommend this place for incoming first years.
James R.
it’s great and comfortable and spacious. However, our AC unit keeps breaking and we are not able to regulate how cold the room gets. Maintenance has come several times and is unable to fix it.
Madeline S.
Really fun except the toilets don’t flush that well but overall good. Definitely would recommend! woohoo. The water from the tap is dirty though which could be improved but I like the closets a lot they’re super cute
Peyton V.
I have absolutely no issues with this community so far. The rooms are clean, staff is very helpful, and the location is unbeatable. Ten out of ten recommend
Nicholas B.
Granville is a great place to be and has became my home away from home. It’s made the transition from home to college so much easier! I am so thankful for this place!!
Makayla A.
Been good. Elevator and WiFi have kinda sucked. Agora hours also kind of suck. Everything else is pretty good. Been good. Elevator and WiFi have kinda sucked. Agora hours also kind of suck. Everything else is pretty good.
Maya A.
everything is great! my only complaint is the loud/scary AC system. Also sometimes it just doesn't work as well as we'd like it to. but its better than nothing
Brianna C.
Granville Towers is definitely the place to be on campus. It is super close to classes, and being on Franklin Street is awesome. Would recommend.
Madison W.
Granville Towers is amazing. I am a first year and I truly vibe well with the social atmosphere. The food at the Agora is alright. 10/10 would recommend GT
RavChrysler A.
Living in Granville Towers is honestly a great experience. The location is truly unbeatable, and having everything I need in the community, like a gym, food at the Agora and even things like a gift wrapping station are an added bonus.
Bolatito B.
My floor is great. Our RA is super cool and there are lots of nice people in my building and in the community in general. The only thing I don’t like is how loud people are during quiet hours and when people mess with people’s door decorations.
Brianna K.
It’s great! The hall is always bustling with people so it’s easy to talk to them and catch up about their days. There is a close hall community as a result.
Anisha K.
I really enjoy the space in the room and the food in the Agora is pretty good. I like how they switch it up every week. The gym is so convenient how it is just a 2 minute walk away
Ryan K.
I have loved living in Granville...so much that I have lived here for freshman and sophomore year. My favorite part of living in Granville is connecting with the Agora staff. Ms. Diane will always hook you up with the daily specials and is such a joyful person that brightest my day!
loga*@*.com
The Agora has good food and it’s right next to target but the WiFi has been flickering recently. It’s also right next to frat court so it’s noisy af.

This has been such an incredible community experience. Everyone on my floor is so welcoming, nice, and open. The food is delicious and varied and the coffee is incredible.

It’s truly been lovely living here in Granville. The housekeeping staff are extremely kind, and all of the facilities are kept clean. I would recommend ensuring that wet wipes are always in the workout room, but other than that, it’s been great.
The staff is excellent and the rooms are great considering it’s a college dorm. But the constant breaking down of 1/2 elevators and the WiFi being down are major inconveniences.
Kalina G.
Granville Towers has been a wonderful place to be here at UNC. The Agora and all the staff there have always been polite and kind, and the food is spectacular. Everyone is super friendly and I am fitting right in!
Jeremy S.
I love living in Granville Towers. Its location is so amazing for me-- near my classes and all the cool spots to eat. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Clare W.
I love it here! Everyone is super friendly and the amenities are outstanding. The Agora is very accommodating to all dietary restrictions and all the staff are super friendly :)
Sara M.
Best place to live in the Carolina community. So thankful to have been at Granville rather than on campus my freshman year, and I am back again because the place is so good.
Christian H.
Good living conditions, very clean as of now. Although many people are getting sick from what I can tell. I’ve heard rumors that it could be from the air vents, but I don’t know.
James I.
I love the location of Granville. It’s close to campus and also super close to Franklin Street!! I’ve also enjoyed making friends on my hall and in other buildings!!
Madeline S.
I love living at granville towers! The Agora always has amazing food and the maintenance crew is very prompt and friendly when there is a problem.
Shelby U.
i love living at granville towers. the food is really good and there are many options to pick from. it is very close to campus so it’s nice in that sense.

I love living in Granville because it’s so convenient. It’s close to everything and it’s so nice having a gym, the agora, and a target right there.
lrec*@*.edu
Awesome so far. The rooms are incredibly clean and the bathrooms are nice as well. The air conditioning works great which has been important.
Nicholas V.
Great dorm experience. Perfect location next to Franklin street and Target, and only a 10 minute walk from campus. Rooms are big with great amenities. My only complaint is that maintenance did not believe us or do anything about a complaint we had.
Courtney L.
Kind of expensive for cinderblock rooms, but I guess that's college for you. Very spacious and clean. Kind staff and good food! Also very close to campus.
Harris D.
Granville is awesome! Thanks for having me. Im in the south tower. Having 3 elevators is awesome. I never have to wait. I don’t like the emergency alarm at the steps tho
Grant H.
The community here has been fantastic and the location is unbeatable. The Agora is also a great place to grab food whether you're in a rush or just want to talk to new people.
Edwin B.
Wish the computers/printers here were more competent. Very very slow and hard to access as there is only one in each building. The printer is hard to work and eats up paper.
Adrienne C.
The food in Agora is delicious, housekeeping is very respectful and kind, the service desk is always informative, the room size is very accommodating, and the location is perfect!
Reghan F.
real nice place to live with big rooms and quick access to the dining hall which is called the agora. close to Franklin street and north campus where many freshman classes are
Jordan R.
Rooms have been comfortable and spacious. Fellow residents have been kind and respectful. The location on Franklin Street is simply unbeatable. Granville Towers staff is quick to respond to any requests.
Harrison P.
Granville Towers is very clean and in a great location. Rooms are a great layout and give plenty of space to each person. The Agora has great food options.
Apostolia K.
Everyone that works here is so helpful and the people living here are so friendly. The amenities are also by far the best on campus. The best living experience
Lauren C.
Things have been great aside from random times throughout the night when people get loud and rowdy. Also, I have friends telling me that the Granville air can make you sick— I, and others, got sick within the first week, so there seems to be some truth to that statement.
Trey M.
Great staff and amenities. I have stayed here two years and loved every minute. I definitely recommend Granville’s to any incoming freshmen.
Tanner H.
I love it here! The rooms are spacious, the people are friendly, and the dining hall has a lot of good, healthy options. The only complaint I have is that there were several maintenance problems with the room upon move-in.
Constance S.
A nice space. Good food at the Agora, weekly bathroom cleaning, convenient location. However, Greek life is excessive and noisy, especially at night.
Nijah P.
I lived in Granville Towers last year and it was so amazing that I decided to live here for a second year!! The people here are amazing and I am glad to have a second year to spend with them all!
MaryAnna C.

Granville is an amazing place to live and is in a very convenient location :) I love smoothie day and all the events that are held! Can't wait for this upcoming year.
Jessica J.
Granville is a nice place to live overall, but has occasional shortfalls such as uncleanliness in the hallways and a lack of communication at times during room assignments. They are understandably busy but all residents need to be heard.
Christopher D.
Granville is a great place to live. This is my third year living here and I love it! The location and food are both great and never disappoint.

Great place to be with friends and always welcoming staff. The food in the Agora is also really good and offers and ton of diverse options. Super close to campus and Franklin St as well
Grayson H.
Very safe and home-y feeling at Granville. I am very excited to stay here for my first year. I love how spacious the rooms are and am excited to try the Agora.
Alyssa C.
So far so good. Haven’t moved in yet, but haven’t had any issues to date. Leasing was easy. Am looking forward to August 15th and moving into my new home!
Keller M.
The building is nicely updated and spacious. The bathrooms have bathtubs which is great for relaxing and you have your own personal sink in each room.
Kaitlin R.
It’s beautiful & they provided plenty of information for you to stay there. It’s near everything you need such as your classes, Franklin Street & Target.
Kendra R.
Granville Towers was a great place to live my first and second year at Carolina. Close to class and Franklin Street. With a gym and every meal taken care of
Jessie D.
Granville is awesome! I am especially excited to have a single room. I would like it if the cafeteria had a few more organic food options, but overall everything is really nice.
Samantha G.
I have only had great experiences here. My only complaint is that parking passes are way too expensive. Other than that, I’m excited to live here.
Jordan T.
I have not stayed in Granville yet, but I am happy with my choice to live there. It supposedly has good food, and a meal plan is included in the cost. Also, I will be using the gym.
Salem C.
Best housing ever! The people are so friendly, the amenities are nice, and the housing area in general is very homely and comfortable. I would suggest Granville to anyone!
Olivia K.
Granville is the best! The communication before I have even arrived is so good. Looking forward to the best year ever. The people have always been there to help me as well.
Parker H.
Very nice rooms that are spacious and well designed. The Agora is great to grab a quick bite or to sit down and eat till you can’t anymore. The community is very friendly
Christopher W.
The location and amenities are the best parts of Granville. I chose it as my freshman dorm because of the great services they offer and the short distance from campus and downtown.
Megan T.
Good location. Good food. Great service. I will refer it to all my friends. Love the place. Spacious and has better layout than other dorms. Thanks guys.
Mary M.
Granville is very accommodating and quick to respond with any issues or worries! Living on franklin can’t be beat, there is so much to do- Target is even right next door.
Emily M.
I love Granville. Although I haven’t lived there yet, my brother lived there last year and it was sweet. I enjoyed visiting and look forward to living there next year.
David C.
The website is a little confusing when trying to figure out what needs to be done, but they do a great job sending reminder emails to make sure we remember things.
Annsumner T.
i love granville! the food at the agora is amazing, the gym has a wide range of equipment, and the staff is super helpful. it’s amazing to have our bathroom cleaned once a week as well!
Katherine R.
This is great. I got the email and it was super easy to sign up for. All it took was my email and password and I was ready to go. I also got 2,500 just for signing up, which was great!
Katherine M.
Very helpful staff and amazing housing system!! The food appeals to many different cultures and there is always someone ensuring the halls and cafe is clean.

Great move in! Great rooms. Love the meal plan and gym in the building. I have lived here for three years and have loved it every minute. Great amenities and helpful staff. Love that I can park on campus.

I live here for UNC chapel hill as a student and it is a good place to live as a freshman. I would recommend it to others to stay here too...
Jonathan A.
So far I have enjoyed the entire housing process and it has been relatively seamless. I would recommend this to anyone else attending UNC down the road.
John S.
Don’t live here yet but everyone’s been really nice so far. The community’s in a really good location and everything always seems clean and well taken care of.
Ana T.
I am not at Granville yet but when I visited a friend there I loved how you had your own sink in your room. I also loved how the suites only included four people.
Chloe S.
Haven’t been able to actually live in Granville yetbur from what I’ve heard is that it’s awesome and I feel like there’s no better place to stay at UNC
Jenny D.
I have not yet lived at Granville but I plan to attend in the fall! I went for admitted students day and me and my family toured Granville and also ate there. I loved all the staff and all the people. Also the food was amazing!
Reagan C.
I move in in about 2 months and I’m so excited. Every time I have been there it has been an extremely great stay. It is always very clean and there are so many great amenities right in Granville.
Emily J.
I would like to have not seen the removal of the actual keys to the dorm rooms because I liked the idea of there not being fobs but this should be interesting.
Jackson L.
So welcoming and new I love the experience here. A wonderful place to live with great features. In the heart of Chapel Hill only a short walk to the heart of UNC.
Sarah R.
The staff is great but I feel the facilities could be updated. I love the food and other residents but I think rooms could be renovated and amenities could be updated.
Hannah L.
I am so happy with my choice to move into Granville Towers. I am very happy with the convenience of the sink in my room and I am very impressed by the amenities provided!
Chloe A.
Took a tour before coming into UNC freshmen year. Everyone was so nice & the amenities were great too! Definitely made me more excited to be attending Carolina.
Lindsay C.
Granville is a great private dorm because of its location on North campus near the academic buildings and because of its amenities. It is super convenient!
Margaret L.
I love being in Granville Towers. It is close to social events and classes. The food is good and the rooms are nice. Parking is a hassle but it’s manageable.
Evander S.
The staff is excellent!!!! Always willing to help me any time I have a problem or question...and fast!!! I think I will love living in south tower next semester but wish there was a way to walk to the agora and gym without getting in the rain...like a pavilion or something would be helpful!
Brooke G.
Has been a great process so far in the midst of registering and preparing for move in. Staff has been great and attentive and has made me and my roommate excited for the move.
Ansley A.
Amazing!! Very helpful staff helped me through every single step of the process of my application. I am excited to move in and experience what living in Granville is
Brian G.
Great environment, well-maintained, plenty of events throughout the year! Great location and includes a dining hall and a gym. Room service weekly.
Alexander R.
It was ok, I really liked having the gym. The other part about living here was kind of an eh. Our room also always had problems that maintainance claimed to fix
Rahul N.
Very great place to live to meet people with a super helpful staff. Just a bit loud at times. The location to Franklin Street and campus is also great
Megan L.
i loved living in granville towers it was close to class and the people were great. the agora was always good and the gym was super close. overall short walk to everywhere.
Keilei L.
I really enjoyed staying in Granville, but it was really hard to regulate the temperature some times. That was my main issue. My room could be really cold or really hot.
Aubree D.
Granville Towers is in an unbeatable location and provides a great community for students to get to know each other. The laundry, cafeteria, and gym are all very convenient.
Connor Y.
Granville is a really nice place to live. The location is awesome. It’s so close to all of my classes and Franklin St which makes it so easy to walk wherever I need to go
Caroline B.
Sometimes the food would get monotonous. The rooms are okay and certainly suffice for a college student. The staff is mostly friendly and the cleaning crew is very nice.
aaro*@*.com
The value of living at Granville is AMAZING! People often think Granville is expensive, but it's not really! Granville has a convenient location since it is just a 10-minute walk to campus! Having our own dining hall is great too because you don't have to trek far to get food. The one thing about the Agora is the lack of variety in vegetarian foods since eating the same vegetarian options like stir fry and burritos can get very boring. Also, I have noticed that when vegetarian foods are asked to be made (whether on the grill or at the Banhe counter), the same utensils, knives, and bowls are used as non-vegetarian foods which for some vegetarians becomes a problem. It is nice that we have on-site maintenance however, sometimes maintenance never really fixes the root of the issue. The entire year, my roommate and I went with the shower and our vanity sink not draining properly so sometimes the water would rise up higher than our ankles in the shower and water would take forever to drain in the sink while brushing our teeth. We filled out several maintenance requests throughout the year but the problem was and still is not resolved.
Parita B.
Granville is in a great location and close to most classes. The food is also great; I always have friends who have meal plans on campus ask to eat at the Agora in Granville because it is better!
rhyn*@*.com
I've lived in Granville for 2 years now and the Agora continues to slap. The housekeeping staff is never anything less than amazing and the RA's are awesome

Granville is a great place to place. The food is awesome and the location is the best. I can walk to class in about seven minutes and I can walk to Starbucks in about three minutes!
Faith H.
Granville Towers is THE BEST!! I love all the food in the Agora and the staff is amazing. They are super sweet, kind and love to get to know the residents.
MaryAnna C.
Granville was a great place to live this past year! The staff was extremely kind, no matter how early or late. The gym and fitness studio were always clean and had lots to offer.
apri*@*.com
I have had a pretty decent experience in my community. However, the majority of the time, residents around my room are very loud, especially during quiet hours. It normally doesn't continue for a long period of time, but other times my whole suite is woken up at 3 a.m because people are running up and down the hallway. Other than this, my experience has been great!
laur*@*.com
My experience here has been great I love the location and how convenient it is. I like living in East Tower because it has the gym and it is closest to classes.
Grace S.
Great location and nice size rooms. Having Franklin Street and Target right beside you while also have a short walk to classes was convenient. All the staff was friendly, and were readily accessible when needed. Food was better than on campus, and the special themed dinners they had were nice. A little more in-tower amenities would be nice, overall a great dorm for students.
Braxton H.
The location is the best part about living in Granville. It is an easy walk to your classes and so close to Franklin Street!! Granville also as the Agora which is super convenient.

Overall great place to live. Some minor setbacks like our sink having gunk come out of it. But everything else was great. The food is great. Atmosphere is great.
caro*@*.com
Granville has been great and very convenient. I just wish the AC and heat weren’t so extreme and could just be moderate. The staff here are so helpful, although some RA’s really do the bare minimum. The agora is great and I’m so glad they FINALLY put dairy free frozen yogurt in!
made*@*.com
I like living in Granville Towers. Mostly because of its proximity to Franklin Street. The 24 hour gym, however, is also a big plus to living here.
gian*@*.com
I don’t like the food and I don’t like some of the staff, they seem to be unfriendly and very unhelpful. Otherwise, the rooms and amenities are fine.
Eva J.
Living at Granville Towers during my freshman year has been amazing! The walks to campus are short and enjoyable! The Agora always has great food and has fun theme nights throughout each month!
Maddy H.
Couldn't be happier, love Granville towers and everything they give to the freshmen experience. the agora is phenominal, and the location cannot be topped. Thank you!
Kennedy B.
I chose to live at Granville because my other plans fell through the year. Could be worse, but not being able to sleep until 3 every night takes a toll on you
Gray H.
Granville is a great place to live. You have great neighbors, great RAs and great staff. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The agora always has great food and staff. I love the location of Granville-it May be the best part. You are so close to your classes and to Franklin street.
Caroline C.
Granville is at a very convenient location. The food in the Agora is pretty good but you might get bored eating there every day. Smoothie days are the best though. Also, Granville can be loud especially if you are on a Freshman floor. The walls are not very soundproof and some resident said have a habit of being yelling/stopping/running at 2-3am after quiet hours.
Sophie B.
The staff are really great, I love the room. Housekeeping is really sweet as well and do a great job! Really looking forward to living here again.
Amber K.
Granville Towers is a good place to live for first and second year students. The agora is better than on campus dinning and the gym options in the basement are better than making the trip to campus
Jessie D.
Granville has spacious rooms and the convenience of the Agora cannot be beat! The study lounges located on each floor are nice areas to hang out and watch TV or to do homework with friends.

Chloe C.
My experience has been great. The location of Granville is unbeatable along with having the agora at hand anytime I'm hungry. All staff and RAs have been great.
Zack B.
Clean space and nice having vanity, however, the desk attendant is not always there at multiple times in the day making it inconvenient. Also, maintenance did not know how to fix a certain issue with our bathroom.
Katie S.
Overall wonderful. Made friends that will last a life time. The agora is killer! Getting our bathrooms cleaned is another perk. The location is also amazing.

very cool time, love the gym it is really nice and updated. I like the laundry services and the staff is really nice. However, I think that only giving 2hr parking passes out to parents is not cool
Alyson W.
Granville Towers is a great place to live at UNC. The amenities are nice, the Agora is good and the location is great. It's awesome to live so close to classes and Franklin St!

Choosing to live at Granville is one of the best decisions I've made in college. It's a perfect location for people who want to be close to classes, but also want to enjoy Franklin Street.
Carson S.
Noise can be a little bit of an issue, the halls (especially freshman halls) can be really loud. The environment is fun and it's really great to have a gym and dinning hall right there.
Rachel C.
Overall I really love the location of Granville towers and the conciencie of having the gym and agora so close to where I live. I also really like the design of the room.

Granville Towers has a great location. You are convient to classes and Franklin street which is great. Living here is kind of like your typical dorm experience though. Late night food is the best!
Carrie T.
Living here is awesome! The Agora is super convenient and it's in the best location. It takes me like 6 minutes to get to some of my classes! Everyone here is super nice and i've made so many friends. Any issues (ie plumbing) were easily resolved by talking to people in the main office!

Granville is great, but it could be even better with a bit more TLC and timeliness. I love the location! The agora could use a few more vegetarian and vegan options though.
Aubree D.
I love the location and the amenities. The gym and the agora are both so close and so convenient. The staff is always friendly and kind. My resident experience has been enjoyable. Whenever something is wrong in my room the response team is very timely. I also enjoy the convenience of the Agora and gym.
Rob N.
I love Granville. The people and community are incredible. I do however not like the heating and cooling system because it’s too hot and old
Ryan B.
I I think that there should be another way to control the temperature because it is too hot in my room and I have constantly leave my window open and leave my fan on and it still too hot in my room.

Love living here! The food at the Agora could be improved upon, quality wise, but they have a good selection of snacks and beverages! The salad bar rocks
jann*@*.com
Granville has some great features like having laundry in all of the buildings, a gym, and a dining hall in such close proximity. However the mildew in my room is making me sick and the maintenance people can’t do anything about it. There’s been black and brown water flowing from the showers on fairly frequent occasions. Also the air conditioning does not work.

Agora always has delicious and fresh food with a range of options. Staff at the desk are always helpful. Amenities are generally very nice, and any issues can be sorted out with maintenance fairly easily.
lhal*@*.com
i love it here!! the food in the Agora is great, the people (both staff and students) are great, the location (so close to Target :) and Franklin Street in general) is great. 10/10 recommend
Jessica J.
The accomodations at a Granville are really nice and everything is kept in a great state. The food is better then that found at the Agora and having your own dining hall so near by is really convenient!

I love granville! it is most definitely the best place to live in chapel hill! :) Great place where I have formed great friendships that will last a lifetime!
madison b.
Overall a great experience; only minor complaints like it being a little dated and the mold in the room. However, it is much more modern than any other dorm!
lily*@*.com
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Granville so far! There have been very few, if any, problems that I have had while living here! I believe that the staff works hard and does their best to make Granville a great place to live!
Joshua C.
The experience of living in granville is actually pretty good, but it can be loud and the hesting and cooling needs to be fixed because my room has been very hot recently. Other than those two things it has been great and convenient.
will t.
i really enjoy living at granville as the food is delicious. it isn’t too far from campus and the rooms are really nice. the only thing that bugs me a bit is that foods at granville are labeled vegetarian all the time even if they are. other than that living at granville has been a blast.

Great experience with RA and very enthusiastic staff. Very spacious rooms and awesome food. Convenient location in relation to campus and Franklin St.
Megan L.
Living here was the best decision I’ve ever made. Location is unbeatable and amenities are nice as far as dorm living is concerned. Maintanence is relatively reliable. My only complaint is the dirtiness of the air vents, it is rather gross and they spread excessive bacteria.
Peyton K.
I have a great time living a Granville! The staff are all very nice, and I love my roommate and suitemates. I never have a problem with noise and I have more than enough space for all of my stuff. The walk to campus is about as good as it gets and the walk to Franklin Street is just as good.
megn*@*.edu
Very accommodating to all your needs freshman year! The administration puts on lots of fun events and it makes it more enjoyable to live in. The agora rocks and is so close to your living space. Overall a great place to live
Eliana W.
The rumor that Granville is a party dorm is true, but not in a good way. Every night I lie awake and wonder what eldritch abomination could be making so much noise at 1 am and realize that it’s the dudes across the hall. I mean if you’re gonna blast music at midnight at least blast good music. The RA doesn’t do anything about it because she’s blasting even louder music. My friends don’t believe me when I say that I get more sleep in Davis library than in my dorm until they enter my room and feel the literal vibrations from the 10 or so boom boxes that are constantly at max volume 24/7. At least the foods good 3/5

Granville towers has been wonderful! I’m currently a freshman and was wondering if i’d Like it here and so far I could not ask for anything better. Between the staff and the agora it’s great!

Granville Towers is a wonderful place to live with great amenities and a very nice location. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help!
London H.
Granville's location is the best part about living here. It is ridiculously expensive and the rooms are not worth the money, but the location is awesome. The heat and air conditioning system is really messed up. The agora is so good and very convenient.
Allison M.
Living at Granville as a freshman has been great. I love the location and staff is always helpful! The agora staff is my favorite also with the very sweet cleaning staff!
loga*@*.com
the food is really good, the RA’s are super nice, the location is great, housekeeping could do a bit better on the cleanliness aspect, but other than that it’s good

My hall is great. We are all good friends and hang out just about every day. I have no complaints about living here. The location is really good too. It’s nice being close to everything on franklin street.
Luke B.
I love Granville! It's right near Franklin St and also close to my classes. The Agora is one of the best dining facilities on campus and the staff is always nice to me when I come in.
Lasha S.
overall, i love granville. however, my old roommate and i didn’t get along. when i told the community supervisor i was being sexually harassed they really didn’t do anything

I love living in granville! Everyone is helpful and nice. And the agora has some great food. Also cleaning service is amazing. best place to live as a freshman at unc!
Caroline O.
I really like all of the amenities at Granville, and I appreciate the many friendly staff members that work there. My only complaint would be that it does tend to be pretty loud and the walls are thin, but that doesn't really bother me unless I'm trying to do work.
linz*@*.edu
Granville Towers is a little cliquey, and the temperature in the building has nothing to do with the thermostat so it is erratic. The agora is great.
tjse*@*.com
For the most part I really like my apartment community. My only issues are that they are sometimes loud and I do not know many of them because they keep to themselves.
tayl*@*.com
Granville has been the best place to live my freshman year!! The location is convenient and the rooms are super nice!! The staff is always very helpful and I have the best RA!

Granville Towers has been the place to be at UNC for my freshman year. I love the gym and the friendly staff at the Agora. The cleaning staff is so lovely!
Alyson W.
I have loved living here! The location is unbeatable, and the amenities are incredible! Your dining hall is steps away, laundry is in every building, and their gym is incredible with Netflix and Hulu enabled machines!
Marissa P.
I love the location of Granville Towers. It is so close to Target and Franklin Street and campus! My RA is also the greatest and is always planning events.
Faith H.
Good. At times I may even equate it to very good. But usually that is a stretch. The guy at the grill can be mean but he makes some good omelets.
Lennon K.
I've had a great time living in Granville Towers! (minus how hot the rooms were when we got back from fall break). Being able to make friends on your hall and being this close to target are the best things about UNC
Kelsey R.
The location of the towers are fantastic and you are in walking distance to most everything you need. The maintenance is quick if something is broken.
Hailey S.
My resident experience has been relatively fun. Granville is a nice place to come home to and I’m grateful to be able to call it my home . The food and convenience of a gym is very nice !
Mariah M.
Granville Towers is a great place to live! The amenities are nice, the staff is nice and the location is great! Wonderful place to live my first and second year. Had some roommate problems but they were very accommodating and helpful.

I really enjoy living in Granville. The food is really good and always changing and so close to me. I also enjoy living on a Co-Ed hall because it keeps things interesting

These are great dorm rooms in a great area. They are big, and also the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others.

I love the Granville community. The people are very socialable, yet they are also dedicated to academics. The Agora is a fantastic dining hall as well!
John C.
The absolute best place to live at Carolina! I love the location, the amenities, and the community. It's proximity to Franklin Street makes life easier.

I like living in Granville because it is near all my classes. There is a gym and an eating site plus it is on Franklon Street. I have never had any issues living there and I have been there for almost 3 years now.

Granville Towers is conveniently located near UNC’s main campus. The Agora always has something good to eat. I enjoy having a gym in the building.
Amber L.
I love Granville Towers! It has been the best experience! The food is great and so are the students and staff. Granville Towers has made me feel at home while away from home!!
MaryAnna C.
Very friendly staff with quick services. The facilities can sometimes be inconvenient and in need of repair but is otherwise a good experience.

Granville towers have been a great place for me as a first year student at UNC! I love the location, and my classes are all close! The dorms are comfortable and feel like home.

very nice rooms!! all RA’s are great, very nice staff and overall a lot of fun. maintenance works fast to fix all of our issues and everything works out well!!
sam f.
Granville Towers is a great place to live. It’s at the perfect location, and has all the amenities you may need. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to campus and is right next to all the amazing dining and shopping areas on Franklin Street.
emwi*@*.edu
Granville is an amazing place to live it's so close to campus and the community is always thriving doing fun stuff and hanging out. You become family with the people on your hall and you always got the Agora which is like the best social gathering at UNC.
Joey F.
The rooms are spacious and nothing beats the proximity to class. The Agora has great dining options. Also, being close to Franklin Street is convenient.
caha*@*.edu
It has been great so far. The food is great everything is awesome except for my ac. The ac blows cold air but makes a really loud sounds every once and a while and we called maintenance twice and they were unable to fix it.
tgar*@*.com
Granville is the place to live as a first year at UNC. The facilities are top notch, the Agora is always amazing, and each RA is in your business enough to care but not over the top.
samc*@*.com
LOVE living here!!! Such a good location and central to lots of things in chapel hill! The agora is so good (definitely better than lenoir)!
Taylor B.
So far, living at Granville has been a positive experience. The amenities are great, and I am especially pleased with the gym and Agora. The RA program is great. The only issues I have had thus far is cleanliness and maintenance issues within my room.
Taylor T.
The people are very sweet and the food is delicious. Everything is very accessible, including dining, a gym and study rooms. Also, the location is hard to beat.
Taylor S.
I absolutely love it! Everything is so accessible and convenient, I can go to Target while I’m doing laundry, all in around 30 minutes!!!!!!!
Stephen W.
Granville has a great location to classes and Franklin Street. The atmosphere is great and supportive for first year UNC students. The services provided are also great.
Kate D.
The location and convenience that Granville provides is unbeatable for the first year experience. I would highly recommend that if you are living on campus, this is the place to be.

I love my experience here! I feel that the staff is very welcoming gnawing brings a tight community together. I also feel that this serves as a community where I can make close friends.
rachana k.
I really enjoy the environment at Granville not only involving the statf but with the students who live here as well. Everything is always clean and the food at the Agora is good.

I really enjoy living in Granville towers. I am in the west tower, so having the agora in my building has been extremely convenient. The only thing I would have to complain about is that our AC has been unreliable thus far
l.ko*@*.com
I wish Granville would make some t-shirts, because I have a "Go Granville, Go America" shirt and everyone thinks it vintage and wants one. The dining hall should make more Mac and cheese but everything else is awesome
kayt*@*.edu
I love how close to campus it is. The amenities are very nice and for the most part, all workers are very nice and friendly. I love that there is a small gym in West.
Tricia R.
I enjoy the hall style rooms, with four people to our bathroom. Also, the sink in the room is very useful. Additionally, there is unlimited printing, and the Agora is high quality for a dining hall.
kean*@*.com
I like the proximity to campus as well as Franklin Street as well as the state/layout of the rooms and the buildings.
However, there have been several maintenance issues that take a substantial amount of time be fixed.
Stephanie H.
I absolutely love Granville Towers. The location is so convenient. I am close to my classes, close to Franklin St, have the agora and the gym. I would definitely live here next year.
Keilei L.
I love Granville! It has everything I could ever want! Food, laundry, easy access to Franklin Street, and best of all the nicest dorms on campus!!! It has been my perfect home away from home!
Hailey V.
The food is pretty good. The rooms are nice and large. The air quality seems to be not the best though because everyone is always getting sick.
tsis*@*.com
My experience has been okay. Living in a dorm has definitely been an adjustment and I have gotten sick and have no recovered which I think is due to communal living. But the rooms are nice and the amenities are very nice as well.
gigi*@*.com
Everyone living here at Granville is really great, and the amenities and staff are more than I could ask for. I’m really glad I chose to live here!

Would not want to live anywhere else. Close to everything I need. I have been to south campus once and it does not even compared to Granville.
tris*@*.com
Granville really is the best place to be at UNC! Convenient place because you’re close to target, Franklin street, The Agora, and classes!! And rooms are AMAZING!
Calista C.
I am loving it so far. The amenities are what makes living here worth it. I have everything I need right at my fingertips. Also, Granville's location is great. It is near Franklin and my classes.
Tanner H.
Granville Towers has been really convenient this year. The location is really nice and, for the price, the food is good. Housekeeping for the bathrooms is really convenient and the people who work here are very nice. The only problem is that it is loud at night and the rooms are not very soundproof. You can hear pretty much everything.
Sophie B.
Granville towers has been an excellent place for my freshman year. I have enjoyed the services provided and the agora being in the lobby of the west tower.

I like how Granville is quiet and clean. Although, the agora has good food but it could add more vegetarian options. I also like how the agora has smoothie nights and they bring in ethic foods, for example, indian and greek foods.
Shivangi S.
my personal experience has been great so far. I love my suitemates so much. we have all become best friends, and for that I am so thankful.
